winslow, maine. cold, overcast, unforgiving. a perfect place for an asylum. but take as step into our world to get a good glance at everything; because looks can be deceiving. life is a living hell for the people inside the asylum. they are people just like me and you but then why are they locked up? well, maybe they aren't exactly like the normal person. no, you see these people have powers. powers to read minds, duplicate things, even control things like water or sound. you see, they can't be let out, just think of all the destruction they can bring all the killing they could do. none of them asked for this, someone wouldn't even hurt a fly. so whats to be done?

THE ASYLUM BULLETIN Here is where in character announcements(such as who's escaped, who's been put in the Infirmary, that sort of thing), will be made.
APPLICATION FORM &&& PENDING APPLICATIONS Here is where you post your character application. If your application isn't finished within two weeks(unless you give a legitimate reason), it will be deleted.
THE ENTRANCE HALL Here is the Entrance to the Asylum. It looks much nicer than the rest of the building, because if it looked like rest of it, parents who come to drop their kids here might get worried.
THE LIBRARY Here is the Library/Computer Lab. The computers have very limited Internet access, meaning the Patients can only Instant Message each other, and do research for classes. The Library has a very large selection of very old, very dull books.
THE CEMETERY The Cemetery is where all of the Patients who didn't make it through the 'treatments' are buried. The headstones are only small rocks, but the graves are often decorated with little things the other patients can find laying around.
THE COURTYARD The Courtyard in where the Patients come to hang out, when they can. It is the only place in the Asylum where the Doctors won't go. It is made of stone, and crumbling. It has quite a few benches and a few trees.
THE GARDEN Filled with a variety of deadly plants, the garden is the perfect place for a romantic stroll... or a murder. Four doctors have been found dead in the Rose Bushes, but no one knows who did it. At least, no one who's telling.
DOCTOR'S QUARTERS Located in the center of the grounds is a small compound, gaurded by and electric fence, which is where the Doctors live. Each Doctor has their own one bedroom apartment, which they may furnish whoever they see fit.
THE EXECUTIVE BUILDING Here is where the Asylum's offices are, and all of the other parts of the Asylum that are really only there to impress important people.
THE ROAD Here is the only road out of the Asylum. The last sign that you were ever there is a large black sign which bares the words 'You Are Now Leaving Winslow Asylum'. Hope you never return.
FOREST Here is the dense forest that surrounds the Asylum. There are only two paths that lead anywhere, and one of them is the only one that gets to a part of the fence that isn't electrified.

CHARACTER EXTRAS
JOURNALS Characters can have journals here, remember that you may only post in your own journal, no one else's.
PHOTO ALBUMS Many of the Patients have snuck in cameras, and every two months, the Doctors have to take photos of every Patient for documentation purposes. Other characters can comment on your character's photos if they'd like to.
ARCHIVES Here is where finished threads, dead threads, and threads by deleted members will go. If a thread is moved here, and you want it moved back, tell me, and I will.
