1. Do not steal any of our content, graphics, codes, ideas, posts and so on or you will be banned and turned into proboards.

2. Respect each other! I expect discussions to get heated and some arguing, but flaming one another is not allowed.

3. No spamming, this includes in the boards, through PMs, the CBox and so on. Spamming means PMing people your site asking them to join, or posting the same post all over the site, and so on.

4. Don't nag the admins to accept your application. We will get to it as soon as possible. We're pretty busy people, and we don't have all day to look at apps. Sorry if that's inconvenient for people, but there you go.

5. Signatures can not be any bigger than 500 x 300. Our boards are smaller than most and any bigger than this size will stretch the boards! If you use one bigger than 500 x 300 then it will be removed immediately.

6. You're here to RP. You must have a first and last name, no exceptions. Nothing like superbobbobboy.

7. No use of actors/actresses, characters from books, tv shows, and movies... or famous people at all. Why in the world would Harry Potter or say Brad Pitt be here in the Asylum? Since this RP is set in modern times, you can have characters talk about them, you can use them as your celeb, but you can not use their names or histories!

8. For your face claim, you need to use someone famous, or someone you actually know and can get pictures of. No models on DeviantArt that only have one picture. You need to know their name, or at least their myspace name.

9. I know everyone's first language is not going to be English. But please keep your spelling, grammar, and typo mistakes down to a minimum. Also no 'net' speak in RP boards. It's fine in OOC boards though.

10. All RPs are to be in third person point of view. It's just easiest for everyone.

11. No one-liners allowed, actually no two-liners either. All RP's should be at least 250 words. But it, of course, can be longer than that. This has been recently adjusted from one paragraph due to the fact that some members haven't been making posts to the best of their abilities that we know you all have the talent to produce. Frankly, longer better posts just make the site look good to potential members.

12. No God-Moding or Autoing. God-Moding is where your RP character cannot be hurt in any way, whatsoever. Autoing is where you take control of someone else's character. An example of autoing is speaking for someone else or having someone else's character act without the owner's permission.

13. No Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus. This is where your character(s) are perfect in every way. They have the perfect hair, teeth, eyes, and just the perfect body/build. They're rich, dress impeccable, have no flaws. They're popular and every guy or girl wants them or wants to be them. Whatever roll they're playing, the victim, the warrior, the villain, the goody-goody, or even angry Sue she plays it perfectly. We know this isn't the case in real life people! No one is perfect. So when applying for a character don't be this way or it won't be accepted.

14. This one is very important. If you go inactive then you will lose your character, this is if you're a canon character. I consider 2 weeks inactive. If you're going on vacation then let me know. Otherwise I don't want to hear any excuses. If you don't have the time in your life right now to RP properly, then make your own original character and leave the canon characters for those who have the time. Thanks.

15. You must stick to the plot. You can have your own mini-plots, but you must keep with what our site plot says. Here is the site plot. Make sure to read it and follow it.

16. Even if your character has a very powerful gift, they can’t just kill people without that person’s permission.

17. PLEASE NOTE THAT MEMBERS ARE NOT TO RP BEFORE THEIR APPLICATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED! The only posts they can make are in the OOC board.

18. No explicit sexual content. This site doesn't have an official rating, but don't like, describe (.i got a disease darling.) your characters having sex. It's fine to mention, but we don't need details. This is a Proboards rule, actually, so everyone should know this anyway.

19. Actually, no explicit content at all. I want the site to be fun for everybody, so if you're being disgusting with your character, then I reserve the right to ban you, with or without warning.

20. Back to face claims. I don't want you to use artwork. Just real people. I know some people want to, but you can't on this site.

21. No OOC posts in the RPG boards. If you have something to say, either put it in a small thing at the bottom of your RP post, or PM the person. If it is a solidly out of character post, it will be deleted immediately.
